Noosa has its own issues to deal with

NOOSA’S glossy tourist brochures show the smiling faces of couples strolling snazzy Hastings Street, surfers heading out to catch point breaks via the iconic new Noosa National Park boardwalk, and families strolling the parkland lining Gympie Terrace where kids splash in the Noosa River. What could possibly be wrong? For the visitors, nothing.Unfortunately, Noosa’s residents are having to deal with a number of issues that relate to structural changes wrought over the shire in recent years. And problems are piling up. Although some are more solvable than others for Noosa Council, there are factors outside of their control and solutions are in short supply.
